Workshop design and delivery
2004-2020

We have produced many workshops for specific intentions. This way of working is at the heart of what we do – crafting the conditions for great human interactions, and then working live with people. Here are just some examples of the kinds of workshops and clients we have designed them for. You can also see what they say about working with us below.

Nokia

For their Prototype the Experience project, Nokia asked us to help them design and then to deliver a 2 day prototyping workshop across different departments including design and facilitation for mobile phone software developers working on new mobile services.

It looks like this.

What people say about us

In August 2009, our team began a project looking at Design’s expression of the Nokia Brand. We had already gathered an enormous about of research and information from around the company, but we really needed to make sense of it all. Plot was the perfect partner to help us with this. Gill and Nick quickly immersed themselves in the complex world we presented them. Following some very incisive questioning and a robust synthesis of the research, they created a number of strategic frameworks that identified the key directions for the project. It was these directions that formed the intellectual bedrock of the project and gave it the gravitas it needed. They were also extremely diligent about making sure there was a smooth hand-over to our other collaborators and this greatly benefitted the quality of our final deliverable. The final work was shown to several senior audiences within Nokia and received some really positive feedback – especially around the aspects that Gill and Nick shaped. The work now has become very influential within the organization and Plot can take much credit for that.

Plot helped our team plan, develop and run an intense multi-day workshop and they were excellent. Gill & Nick were diligent, thorough and always asked just the right questions of us, validating and improving the workshop at every step. Their role as facilitators during the workshop was equally excellent; Gill & Nick kept the conversations on track, drawing out not just the answers but also the reasoning behind them.As such they contributed real quantifiable value to both the workshop itself and the debriefing session. The output of this workshop became part of the roadmap for the next phase of the project and has been used on an almost daily basis by the team. Highly recommended.
